ASD was originally retained to provide a general risk analysis and vulnerability survey completed in January of 1999. Later responsibilities included a more detailed survey of specific facilities. This second phase of the consulting responsibility was preempted by the College’s desire to begin the design of an integrated access control and alarm monitoring system scheduled completed in 2002.
This system features specialized door control for a large and small animal hospital and animal research facilities and involved a number of door additions and replacements. The system is capable of considerable expansion into such unique facilities as farm buildings, poultry barns and dog compounds as well as the more standard administrative office, research and classroom facilities. Overall system scope $500,000.
