Early in 1993, ASD (dba Campus Crime Prevention Programs), provided a security study of the campus residential facilities involving nine separate internal colleges and over 100 separate structures and have offered design and design review services for a multitude of projects including both new and existing structures. ASD was also responsible for the technical design of large scale access control system eventually incorporated throughout all campus residence halls. Other projects included a critical review of door hardware and involvement with projects involving the replacement of over 3000 interior and exterior door systems; and a major revision to the access control system in 2001
