ASD (d.b.a. Campus Crime Prevention Programs) provided complete design services leading to the installation of a large in¬tegrated security system (CCTV, access control, intrusion and duress alarms) for the DePaul Center, a $110 million, 14-story structure in the heart of downtown Chicago. The system portion of the project also included a security operations center housing a large electronic console used for monitoring and control of the systems. The completed project – a renovation of the Goldblatt Department Store – houses University academic, food service and library operations as well as consider¬able tenant space for high end retail and fast food facilities and City of Chicago offices. Similar services were also provided to the School of Law renovation, located adjacent to the DePaul Center.
