This $130 million signature structure in the heart of downtown Chicago is the largest institutional residence hall in the United States. The structure houses nearly 1800 residents from three Chicago-Area colleges and universities (DePaul, Columbia and Roosevelt), a large conference center, a cafeteria and leased retail space. ASD provided both environmental design enhancement and system design services. Present plans call for a moderate size security system integrated with alarm, access control, CCTV and stand-alone lock control.
