The American Crime Prevention Institute (ACPI) annually conducts several three-day advanced crime prevention seminar for crime prevention officers and specialists. Upon successful completion of this intensive program and passing an examination, seminar participants are certified by ACPI as an "Advanced Crime Prevention Specialist."
